Employment history

Anne began at “grass roots level” as a sales representative; she progressed to Senior Sales management and has worked with blue chip companies, leading large national sales teams of sales managers and representatives.

Responsibilities included the recruiting, training and motivating of the salespeople and managing budgets. It was because she enjoyed the training aspect so much that 5 years ago she decided to leave the corporate world and become a full time trainer. Anne also has extensive experience in the SME sector, both through running her own business and through consultancy and training. Anne has worked with SME business owners all over the UK helping them to develop their sales and marketing strategies.

Training and Consultancy Experience.

Anne has developed and conducted training and consultancy programmes throughout her career within the UK and internationally including, Singapore, Malta, and the Caribbean. Workshops have been delivered to organisations as diverse as Oxford University Press, The Maltese Government, Evans Brothers Publishing, The University of Wales, Swansea, and Welsh businesses such as Hire One Ltd, Pinnacle Group, South Wales Autoparts, GH Stationers, Student Digz, Hi-Reach ltd. and Ant Loans. All workshops are specially designed to suit each individual company and they range in topics from personal selling skills, sales management, telesales, and customer care to marketing consultancy, key account management and sales presentation skills.

A Practitioner

Anne is a practitioner. As well as holding qualifications in teaching, an MA in Sales Management, Membership of the Institute of Business Consultants and a Fellowship of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, she has a modern working knowledge of life as a business owner, as a salesperson, and as a senior sales and marketing manager. Her grasp of the theory which underpins all of these activities, combined with teaching experience, ensures that people find her support and training to be relevant, enjoyable and productive.
